Owner’s Story: A Marine Veteran’s Passion for Dogs and Faith
Having completed the intensive 24-week Master Dog Trainer program at Highland K9 School for Dog Trainers in Harmony, North Carolina, totaling 960 hours, I am proud to have acquired a comprehensive skill set in various areas of dog training. This includes proficiency in basic obedience, service dog training, detection work, bite work, and behavior modification.
My journey in dog training was further enriched by my role as an instructor at Obedient K9 in Charlotte, North Carolina, where I specialized in utilizing NePoPo methodologies to help clients achieve their training goals. This experience has deepened my understanding and appreciation for dogs of all sizes and breeds.
At Heaven and Heel, LLC., my faith in Jesus Christ and my love for dogs are the driving forces behind my work. My upbringing in the countryside, filled with adventures alongside my loyal deaf German Shepherd named “Mouse,” instilled in me a lifelong love for dogs. I deeply understand the joy that comes from the bond between humans and their canine companions.
My mission at Heaven and Heel is to share this joy by helping others experience the incredible connection that dogs bring to our lives. Whether through dog training or owner education, I am dedicated to fostering harmonious relationships between dogs and their human counterparts. I believe that when dog and owner understand each other, every moment together becomes a treasured memory.
I firmly believe that dogs aren’t just Man’s Best Friend; they are everyone’s best friend. Through the bond between humans and their beloved dogs, we aim to enrich lives and create lasting memories.
